The Copy Services auxiliary installs and maintains copiers and multifunctional machines for the department of LSUHSC-S. We arrange for all equipment installation and repair as well as supply and paper delivery. Departments are billed for their usage on a cost per copy basic. Department billing is performed by the Auxiliary administrative office. Copiers are obtained from our contracted vendor, Stuart, Inc. or from state contract vendors. Stuart, Inc. has two full-time on-site personnel at the LSUHSC-S campus to insure a timely and appropriate response to our departments' copier needs.

About this time each year, the institution starts receiving phone calls about copier scam artists trying to sell us toner cartridges at inflated prices. As you should be aware, we have a contract with Stuarts for our Sharp copiers whereby they provide ALL supplies for our copiers. You will never receive a call from someone outside of this institution seeking approval to send you copier supplies. We have Stuarts technicians that take care of this need for us.
PLEASE NOTE: The institution DOES have a legitimate contract with Toner Restore for remanufactured toner cartridges. This contract is available for the purchase of remanufactured toner cartridges for your non-Stuarts provided printers or fax machines. It is NOT to be utilized for any Stuarts-provided Sharp copier or multi-functional machines. Recently Toner Restore flyers have popped up throughout the institution indicating that they had they contract to provide toner cartridges for printers, copiers and fax machines. This flyer is misleading as it does not apply to any of our 186 Sharp copiers located on campus.
