Auxiliary Enterprises and Services
Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center - Shreveport
Auxiliary Enterprises and Services provides services and products to the faculty, staff and students of LSU Health Sciences Center in Shreveport. Support services include but are not limited to telecommunications, computer repair, networking, installation, and printing services. Products are provided through resale stores which include the Medical Bookstore, Cafeteria, and Gift Shop.
Auxiliary Enterprises has the responsibility of assessing the needs of the Medical Center to provide those services and products desired at a competitive cost resulting in a small profit for the Auxiliary unit providing the service. All Auxiliary units are self-supporting thus the profits allow for planning, upgrades and continuing operations of the services and products to the Medical Center population. |
